Fitness Studio

  • The minimum age for class participation is 14 years of age.
  • Last entry to class is 5 mins after the class has begun. This is due to the important warm up phase.
  • Members are encouraged to stay until the end of class and complete both the warmup and cool down sections of the exercises.
  • Mobile phones must be turned off during class.
  • You must inform your instructor of any injuries/illnesses or change in your health before the class begins.
  • All fitness class participants must wear appropriate attire. (No restrictive clothing, flip-flops or boots).
  • Please do not drop weights or plates on the floor. Replace all weights and plates on the rack when finished.
  • Food or snacks are not permitted in studio (this excludes special events).
  • Foot balls are not permitted in the studio.
  • Any damage to equipment must be reported to the instructor.
  • Please wipe down all equipment after use, cleaning solution and paper towels are provided.
  • You must inform your instructor of any injuries/illnesses or change in your health before the class begins.
  • Everyone entering the studio must be wearing appropriate clothing and footwear (No flip-flops or boots).
  • No food or snacks permitted in studio.

Class Descriptions

  • Age Action: A group-based experience for older adults. This class contains warm-ups, step patterns, walking patterns, full body strengthening exercises, and cool-down exercises. 
  • AM Fitness: A class designed to strengthen both cardiovascular and muscular systems with the use of free weights, resistance bands, pump bars, and body-weight exercises.
  • Abs & Glutes: A class focused on strengthening and toning the abdominal muscles as well as the lower body muscles by using various props such as steps, resistance bands, free weights, and your own body weight.
  • Pump & Sculpt: A fast-paced, barbell-based workout that's specifically designed to help you get lean, toned and fit
  • Circuits: A class which may vary from body conditioning to muscular endurance. The class comprises of various exercise stations where participants perform an exercise for a set time before moving on to the next one until the full circuit of all stations is completed.
  • Gym Circuits: A consecutive series of timed exercises performed one after the other with varying amounts of rest between each exercise in a gym setting. The use of free weights, machines, and cardio machines will be used under the supervision and instruction of a fitness instructor.
  • Kettlebells & Abs: While engaging the entire body at once, you’ll learn the basic movements of Kettlebell exercises. This class targets key muscle groups including abs, glutes, arms, and legs using Kettlebells.
  • Pilates: A system of repetitive exercises performed on a yoga mat or other equipment to promote strength, stability, and flexibility.
  • OFN: Operation FarneyNation - Full body high intensity class as part of the Weight Loss Fitness Challenge.
  • Spin: A class focused on improving endurance, strength, interval speeds, and recovery involving a specially designed stationary exercise bicycle.
  • Technique Training: A small based group experience (Max 6) on the gym floor which consists of learning or enhancing training technique, form and proprioception when performing compound and isolated exercises with free weights.
  • Teen Fit: Aiming to introduce both cardiovascular and strength training to teens and students, this class will include both upper and lower body exercises with an emphasis on appropriate technique and form.

Aqua Fitness

  • All class slots can be booked online, by phone or at reception one day in advance.
  • Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • Normal pool rules apply
  • All pay as you go customers who wish to avail of a swim before or after class, must be pay for swim at reception prior to the class commencing.

Pilates 


All 6-week Class Courses are €50
All Courses must be paid for in advance at the time of the booking.

Booking for each Course is 24 hours in advance of the start date.
